Mail

The mail you send lives
by your rules.

With ordinary email, control ends the moment you hit send. Not on email.tr: you give a mail a lifespan, you see when it is read, and even mail to the outside leaves as a password-protected encrypted link.

Self-destructing mail

When time runs out, the mail disappears.

Choose its lifespan as you send: an hour, a day, a week. Or, if you prefer, destruct on first open. When the time is up, the mail is deleted from the recipient's mailbox; your own copy stays with you.

A salary negotiation, a one-time code, an offer meant to be read only once. Some mail should never live in an archive.

  • Timed destruct or destruct on first open, one click as you send
  • Deleted from the recipient's mailbox; the sender's copy is kept
  • Works between email.tr accounts

Read receipts

Messaging apps have it.
Why doesn't email?

Because open SMTP cannot do it reliably. We can, for mail inside email.tr where we control both ends: when the recipient opens your mail, the double tick turns green.

Privacy is not up for negotiation: the feature works on mutual consent. If you turn it off, you neither send read receipts nor see them.

  • Instant read mark the moment the recipient opens
  • Mutual consent: works only if both sides have it on
  • Can be switched off completely with one click

Secure external sharing

Even if the recipient is on Gmail,
send it encrypted.

You don't have to send sensitive content to an outside address in plain text. Secure Send encrypts the mail, and the recipient receives a password-protected viewing link. The content sits encrypted on our server, and you choose the password.

  • The recipient doesn't need an email.tr account
  • You share the password over a separate channel; the link alone is not enough
  • The link expires when its time runs out

Undo send

You sent it. Then you winced.
There's still time.

The wrong person, a missing attachment, an angry mail that left too soon. Undo send exists for exactly this: after you hit send, the mail waits a short while; one click pulls it back, and it never reaches the recipient. The window is yours to set: pick 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds in settings (10 is the default), or turn it off entirely.

There's more

Your inbox, at your command.

The whole secure mail experience, built with the same care: every feature here is live today, none of it is a roadmap promise.

Scheduled sending

Write the mail at night, have it go out at 9:00 in the morning. Change your mind before it leaves? One click cancels it.

Automatic rules

File incoming mail into folders by sender or subject, star it, mark it read. Your inbox tidies itself.

Advanced search

From, to, date, attachments, stars: combine the filters. Search over encrypted content runs on your device. On Standard+ and above.

Instant notifications

New mail reaches your phone instantly via web push. The notification itself carries no content: nothing private leaks on your lock screen. On Standard+ and above.

AI assistant

Summarizes long mail, drafts replies, polishes your writing. Your content is processed but never stored, and never used for training. On Premium and above.

Vault Mode

The top layer of encrypted email: a separate safe for your most sensitive mail, on the Ultra plan. Content opens only with your password; the key never sits with us. Explore our encryption model.

Mail signatures

Polished signatures: a basic signature on every plan; higher plans add photos, colors, social media icons, a logo and multiple signatures.

Official sender badge

email.tr system mail arrives with a verified badge; fake mail sent in our name can never earn that badge.

Custom folders

Divide your inbox your way: custom folders, pinning, drag-and-drop moves. Combined with rules, the inbox keeps itself in order.

Once mail works like this,
everything else is an excuse.

Pick your name and open your email account. Documents, Calendar and Drive come with the same account; e-signature is on the Ultra plan.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move from Gmail to email.tr?

For anyone looking for a Gmail alternative, switching is simple: create your new mail account in a few minutes at mail.email.tr/checkout, set up forwarding to your new address in Gmail's settings, and import your contacts into the Contacts app with a vCard file. The move happens at your own pace.

Which plans include read receipts and how do they work?

Read receipts are included on all plans and work only between email.tr users. Mutual consent is the rule: if both sides have them on, the double tick turns green; anyone can switch them off completely with one click.

Which plan has self-destructing mail and undo send?

Both are on the Premium and Ultra plans. A self-destructing mail is deleted from the recipient's mailbox when its time runs out; the undo send window can be set to up to 30 seconds in settings. For details, compare the plans.
